Hind Leys Preschool is an outdoor play based setting in Loughborough. They are passionate about outdoor play and base their approach on a combination of Forest school, Mindful curriculum, Reggio Emilia creativity and Ferre Laevers experiential social competencies. They are a true forest school and even their babies sleep outdoors. They believe in all year round free flow whatever the weather and have a fire pit area and a tool room workshop.
PLAY and physical development is at the forefront of all of their work. They have demonstrated an ongoing commitment to play and took part in the parent play project last year hosting two Parent sessions delivered by Inspired Children. They are muddy clothed, out in all weathers, natural playing, parent educating play champions and the cold doesn’t bother them anyway!
We loved being part of Inspired Children’s project to involve Parents…. We used all of the advice information and experiences to inform what we do each day… we quote the training often… we love being a play Champion!
