Introducing the Inspired Children Play Team.

The Inspired Play Team is a group of dedicated playworkers and early years workers who have been trained by Inspired Children to deliver high quality sessions for children. They work all over the UK bringing unadulterated play to children. No organised sports, no intricate craft activities where the adult does all the work, just free choice and good old fashioned play with not a Playstation or Xbox in sight. The team delivers child led play including making dens, bottle rockets, outdoor cookery, superhero activities, water play, rope swings, make believe play and building giant creations out of cardboard boxes.

The team are an integral  part of the Coram adoption activity days project and have been filmed by both Channel 4 and ITV working with children and adopters across the UK. They have also recently been commissioned to help run disabled family fun days in the East Midlands. They have provided magical play sessions at Leisure Centres, Holiday clubs and Children’s centres and have successfully supported family days and events with a variety of play activities for children of all ages.

I just wanted to thank you for the support of your team at our recent Official Opening of our new Reading Garden.Your workers were very professional and delivered an exciting and fun session which our young service users really enjoyed.

One particular young person has recently been engaged in the CAF process, he has challenging behaviour , poor memory and poor concentration skills. He became totally absorbed with the bottle rockets and the den making. At the end of the session he kept going to each member of our team  to tell us all about what he had done and how great it was. It was a real joy for us to see him so focused and getting such obvious pleasure.  This has also helped us and his family to identify areas of focus for him in the future.

Thank you and your team for coming up with the goods once again!!
